About the role
- Business Analyst intern supporting requirements, testing, and product improvements at Sodales. Contributing to enterprise software products serving Health & Safety and labor relations teams.
Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering and documenting business and user requirements through interviews, workshops, and stakeholder discussions
- Support the creation and maintenance of user stories, business requirements documents (BRDs), process flows, and other project documentation
- Work with product, development, and quality assurance teams to understand business needs and translate them into functional requirements
- Help create low-fidelity prototypes, wireframes, and process diagrams to support solution design
- Participate in application testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), test case preparation, and validation of business requirements
- Conduct research and analysis to identify product improvements, industry trends, and customer needs
- Assist in troubleshooting and documenting product issues while collaborating with technical teams on potential solutions
- Support stakeholder communication by tracking requirements, updates, and project activities
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions
- Contribute to product roadmaps, feature prioritization discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Interest in product management, business analysis, enterprise software, and technology solutions
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Design Thinking, or software development concepts is considered an asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
- Basic understanding of business process analysis and documentation techniques
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and collaboration platforms
- Knowledge of SAP technologies, cloud applications, or enterprise software is considered an asset but not required
