About the role
- Proposal Manager leading competitive technology RFPs for Sodales. Coordinating teams, executive summaries, AI positioning, product demos, and timely client submissions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and submission of compelling, competitive proposals responding to RFPs and other business opportunities
- Analyze RFP requirements and collaborate with sales, technical, product, and other relevant teams
- Develop proposal plans with milestones and responsibilities
- Define proposal structures covering executive summary, technical approach, pricing, and compliance
- Coordinate subject matter experts to create high-quality content
- Write and edit proposal content for clarity, consistency, messaging, and branding
- Ensure client requirements are addressed and Sodales solutions are effectively positioned
- Meet internal and external deadlines and conduct thorough quality reviews
- Manage final proposal production and timely electronic submission
- Serve as primary contact for clarifications during proposal evaluation
- Gather submission feedback and apply lessons learned and best practices
- Monitor industry trends, client needs, and competitor offerings
- Create product explainer videos and demo content for clients
- Provide weekly status reports and follow up on action items
- Work with product managers and product owners to update product knowledge and capabilities in RFPs
- Improve RFP executive summaries and company differentiators
- Collaborate with directors to align proposals, leaders, and demos with company goals
- Position AI scenarios and differentiate custom versus standard requirements
- Frequent travel to attend events and RFPs with customers may be required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing
- 5 or more years of general experience
- At least 3 years of proven experience in proposal management, preferably in the technology industry
- Familiarity with technology solutions and industry
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency in proposal management software and Microsoft Office
- Frequent travel may be required to attend events and RFPs with customers
- Good understanding of Sodales technology and architecture
- Good understanding of security requirements and prerequisites for RFPs
- Ability to position AI scenarios successfully
- Ability to write an attractive executive summary according to client requirements
- Ability to differentiate between custom and standard requirements according to product configuration
- A master’s degree/postgraduate certificate is not required but is an asset
