About the role

Requirements

  • 10+ years in data engineering, analytics, or data science, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of consolidating disparate data tools into a unified modern stack. Able to discuss trade-offs between BI tools and data platforms with the executive team.
  • Experience with ML models in production and using LLMs. Ability to scale solutions that have a direct impact on revenue (B2C, Travel, or Retail experience is a plus).
  • Demonstrated success launching data products, including pricing strategy, go-to-market, and continuous optimization.
  • Experience with tools such as Snowflake or BigQuery, dbt, Airflow/Dagster, Mixpanel, MongoDB, GCP, and modern BI tools (Sigma, Looker).
  • Experience with PIPEDA, GDPR, and U.S. privacy regulations is a plus.
  • Player-coach approach: able to set strategy while being hands-on in code when needed.
  • Fluency in English required for daily interactions with international colleagues and partners.
