Responsibilities
- Facilitate Module 5: Responding to Anti-Indigenous Racism within the PPD program
- Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
- Share lived experience and expertise as an Indigenous person (First Nations, Métis, or Inuit) to enhance student learning
- Guide students through case studies and discussion to connect course content to real-world practice, particularly in healthcare and human services
- Support Stenberg’s ongoing commitment to EDII in all aspects of teaching and learning
Requirements
- Indigenous identity: First Nations, Métis, or Inuit
- Experience as a facilitator, educator, or trainer
- Expertise in issues related to Indigenous Peoples, with a focus on anti-Indigenous racism
- Knowledge of Indigenous experiences in healthcare and human services
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage diverse student groups
- Preferred: experience in post-secondary or adult education
- Preferred: familiarity with equity, diversity, and inclusion frameworks
