Responsibilities
This course will be an introduction to strategies and methods useful in teaching Wood Production Lab at the junior high level.
The practical, hands-on emphasis of the public-school technology program will be mirrored in this course.
The focus will be on the outcomes as outlined in the Nova Scotia Technology Curriculum document and will examine activities suitable for students in grades seven to nine.
Students are expected to participate in interactive classes and labs where they will practice the required skills necessary to facilitate learning in Wood Production Labs in Nova Scotia schools.
Requirements
Candidates should have a PhD or MEd with significant experience in the course area.
