About the role
- Senior Fullstack Engineer developing with Go for chat API and moderation model. Join our diverse engineering team in Toronto, collaborating on high-scale challenges.
Responsibilities
- Work on our video SFU & chat API using Go
- Collaborate with a small team in Toronto for core stability and alerting
- Train our own proprietary moderation model
Requirements
- Proficiency with Go (or another backend language and willing to switch to Go);
- Scalability - you have experience with building (functional) features that are used by lots of users;
- Python (our AI runs on Python)
- Willingness to do some occasional Frontend work (we use React)
- Experience with AWS or other cloud provider
- Message queues experience
- Full text search experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
