About the role
- Intermediate Financial Reporting Analyst supporting the Investment Solutions business at Sun Life. Responsible for financial reporting, accounting reconciliations, and audit support.
Responsibilities
- Assist in ensuring the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of accounting transactions
- Process accounting for the Segregated Funds line of business
- Own month-end close activities and account reconciliations
- Prepare investment management fee statements and process payments
- Prepare quarterly trending analyses and reporting packages
- Provide audit support and assist with strategic initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 2–3 years of accounting and financial reporting experience
- Actively pursuing or having completed a professional accounting designation
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Strong attention to detail, with analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in Individual Wealth or insurance industry preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge of Copilot, SAP Ledger, Tableau
