About the role
- Senior Full-Stack Engineer building scalable APIs and web products for NimbleRx’s patient and pharmacy healthcare platform. Owning full-stack features, performance, testing, and technical delivery.
Responsibilities
- Architect technology and customer experience for multiple web products serving patients, pharmacies, and NimbleRx customers
- Build scalable platforms, APIs, user interfaces, and web services
- Own full-stack features from design through implementation, testing, and release
- Mentor junior engineers and interns
- Promote best practices and high-quality development techniques
- Solve challenging design and technical problems
- Enhance system usability and performance for a consistent user experience
- Collaborate with software engineers, Product Management, and Design to understand requirements and deliver high-quality code on time
- Lead or drive engineering processes through planning, design, delivery, and maintenance
- Own complex projects end-to-end with minimal guidance
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience with backend APIs, web services, and user interface development
- Rich development experience with Java/Spring Boot, React, ECMAScript standard, and SQL (MySQL)
- Experience developing scalable, customer-facing, web-based applications
- Experience practicing and advocating for test-driven development
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Experience with Terraform/Terragrunt or AWS is nice to have
- Current Canadian work authorization is strongly preferred
