About the role
- Senior Analyst optimizing courier supply for Just Eat Takeaway.com’s global food delivery platform. Analyzing operations data and shaping strategies across markets, product, analytics, and data science teams.
Responsibilities
- Support data analysis of strategic initiatives aimed at optimising courier supply for the self-supporting contractor delivery model
- Provide insights for short- and long-term tactical changes to courier supply strategy
- Work with global markets, product, data science, analytics, and operations teams
- Develop an effective toolset for directing and advancing courier supply to drive network performance and customer and restaurant experience
- Help develop short-, medium-, and long-term strategy for supply-related opportunities
- Provide product and data analytics teams with insights on courier supply opportunities
- Support courier supply initiatives with data, insights, and recommendations
- Frame business problems for the analytics team to investigate and collaborate on
- Conduct post-data analysis for BAU business activities and experiments
- Develop cohorts and analyse the current pool, including performance and lifetime metrics
- Communicate data insights and recommendations to stakeholders
- Collaborate with analyst communities and key stakeholders to drive global alignment and insights
Requirements
- 3–4 years of experience in Business Analytics and Operations Strategy
- Advanced MS Excel/Google Sheets skills
- 3–4 years of experience with SQL and Tableau (or another data visualization tool)
- Good understanding of statistics and analytics methodologies
- Ability to connect data with real-life operations
- Ability to work well under pressure and balance multiple priorities
- Logical and solution-finding abilities
- Knowledge of using data to identify optimisation opportunities and develop actionable insights
- Strong reporting skills, including collecting, organising, analysing, and disseminating significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Consent to disclosure of personal information for a background check
