Senior Android Developer building Kotlin and Jetpack Compose experiences for Just Eat Takeaway.com’s global courier network. Owning modular Android solutions for courier offers and incentives.

Responsibilities

Advance the mobile experience for the global courier network, specifically the courier offer and incentives experience
Collaborate with engineering teams and Product Managers in workshops to define new product features
Deliver high-quality software meeting team best practices and expectations
Own developed components, manage timelines, and transparently communicate progress toward team and organizational goals
Share progress and ideas with the team
Contribute to the growth of the Android guild by sharing development practices, patterns, and standards
Contribute to other teams’ repositories as a Trusted Contributor to integrate new features into their codebase
Report to the Technology Manager

Extensive professional experience with Kotlin
Proficiency in building user interfaces with Jetpack Compose
Experience with integration and unit testing
Strong understanding and experience with Android architecture, including multi-modules, Dependency Injection, and MVVM
Demonstrated capability in interfacing with server-side APIs within a complex Microservices ecosystem
Profound understanding of building software through decoupled, reusable components
Expertise in crafting object-oriented, high-performance software with exceptional readability and maintainability
Enthusiasm for pair programming, rigorous code reviews, and proactive knowledge exchange
Ability to thrive within a high-growth, fast-paced, and evolving technical environment
Great verbal and written communication skills in English
