About the role
- Information Systems QA Summer Student Internship at Tarion. Responsible for testing internal and external applications to support warranty program projects.
Responsibilities
- Test deliverables of both internal and external applications to support Tarion projects
- Work with the project management team, review test plan, user requirements and execute the test cases
- Identify and log error codes, bugs, and defects
- Work with application sponsors to report defects, define severity and prioritize
- Develop automated test scripts where applicable
Requirements
- Actively enrolled in a program at an accredited institution such as a public university or community college
- Returning to study program for a minimum of one (1) semester upon completion of the summer employment opportunity
- Ability to review design specifications to understand the scope, requirements, and function of the software product
- Ability to identify appropriate parameters, functions, and data to test and validate
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology is an asset
- Familiarity with UX testing, responsive design testing, mobile testing on iOS, Android
- Experience in writing SQL’s
