About the role
- Business Insights Analyst enhancing data management for L&D at TD. Responsible for data processing workflows, reporting, and analytics to benefit business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Manage data-processing workflows for L&D portfolio insights, learning evaluation and measurement
- Extract, clean, and handle large datasets from various sources to prepare data for analysis
- Utilize statistical methods and analytics techniques to identify trends and patterns
- Screen and prioritize relevant data to ensure that only necessary information is extracted and presented for decision-making purposes
- Develop interactive reports and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or other tools
- Collaborate with Learning Enablement team members and other COEs across L&D to gather requirements and ensure insights align with business objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI is a must have.
- Proficiency in Power Apps and Power Automate is good to have.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as VBA, Power Query M, or SQL for data manipulation, transformation, and analysis
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools, esp. Power BI and Tableau
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong ability to think critically
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of data accuracy and integrity
- Strong communication skills to present complex data in a clear, concise, and compelling manner
- Experience in an HR or L&D governance context is highly desirable
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being able to take initiative and work independently
