About the role

  • TD contact center representative supporting customers with banking inquiries, issue resolution, and product guidance. Completing onsite training, then working primarily remotely with monthly Markham office visits.

Responsibilities

  • Assist inbound callers with account inquiries
  • Resolve customer issues by providing advice and recommending TD products or services
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and trusted support
  • Resolve customer inquiries at the first point of contact
  • Ask questions and respond empathetically to customer concerns
  • Meet customer experience, advice, quality, compliance, and productivity objectives
  • Participate in ongoing training and coaching
  • Work primarily offsite from a secure, private workspace after in-person training
  • Attend in-person team events and experiences at a TD location

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Exceptional communication and listening skills
  • Curiosity to help customers meet their needs and resolve concerns
  • Ability to de-escalate stressful situations with empathy, care, and urgency
  • Ability to multitask and navigate computer systems, applications, and multiple screens with speed and accuracy
  • Digital literacy across smartphones, tablets, laptops, headsets, and other devices
  • Flexibility, resiliency, and a positive attitude when responding to challenging situations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Integrity when managing sensitive customer information
  • Ability to follow regulatory and compliance guidelines related to servicing and sales practices
  • Availability from 6am to 12am, Monday to Sunday, after training
  • Relevant financial or service industry experience is preferred
