About the role

  • Bilingual contact center representative supporting TD customers with banking advice, transactions, and issue resolution. Promoting products and delivering accurate service from Brossard, Quebec.

Responsibilities

  • Create an exceptional customer experience through advice, service, inquiries and issue resolution
  • Identify customer needs and determine solutions to customer problems
  • Ask curious questions to discover and advise on customer needs
  • Offer product knowledge and guidance
  • Handle customer and partner problems, escalating issues when necessary
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities and refer customers to internal Bank partners
  • Complete financial transactions accurately and efficiently, including withdrawals and bill payments
  • Provide inbound and/or outbound service and advice on moderately complex financial products and services
  • Promote the full suite of products, advice, services and banking capabilities
  • Apply operating policies and procedures and support operational excellence
  • Complete business processes and documentation accurately and in compliance with rules and regulations
  • Support process improvement opportunities and perform due diligence on customer transactions
  • Participate as a team member, support a positive work environment and communicate relevant issues
  • Enhance knowledge, participate in knowledge transfer and cross-training
  • Participate in performance management and development activities
  • Keep colleagues informed about project and day-to-day activity status
  • Act as a brand champion for TD internally and externally
  • Generally report to a Team Manager

Requirements

  • High School diploma, Undergraduate degree and/or 1+ years of relevant experience
  • Developed knowledge and skills to offer service and advice for a range of products and services
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of the full product suite, services and processes of the business area
  • Full proficiency gained through job-related training
  • French bilingual capability; maîtrise d’une langue autre que le français pour offrir du soutien ou traiter avec les clients qui ont besoin de services et de soutien dans une langue autre que le français
  • Various accreditations and/or licenses may be required based on the business supported and/or regulatory requirements
