About the role

  • Learning specialist designing digital and live employee development experiences for The Dufresne Group, a Canadian home furnishings retailer. Managing LMS content, learning analytics, facilitation, and capability-building initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Assess learning needs, identify skill gaps, and define clear learning objectives
  • Design eLearning modules, videos, job aids, assessments, facilitator materials, and practical application tools
  • Build and maintain courses, learning paths, assignments, communications, completion tracking, and reporting within the LMS
  • Facilitate engaging virtual and in-person learning experiences
  • Evaluate learning effectiveness using feedback, assessments, completion data, usage trends, and observed application
  • Use learning data to continuously improve content, delivery, and the learner experience
  • Explore emerging learning practices, digital tools, and AI-enabled solutions that improve accessibility, engagement, and efficiency
  • Collaborate with leaders, subject matter experts, and the People Development team to create accessible, measurable learning solutions connected to meaningful outcomes

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, learning technology, or a related field
  • Experience developing learning content, facilitating learning experiences, and supporting an LMS
  • Intermediate experience with Articulate 360, including Rise and Storyline
  • Experience with LMS course setup, learning paths, completion tracking, reporting, and content version control
  • Strong collaboration, communication, organization, and facilitation skills
  • Experience with UKG Pro Learning, Microsoft 365, virtual facilitation platforms, or AI-enabled content tools is an asset
  • Relevant post-secondary education or an equivalent combination of education, certification, and directly related experience
  • Ability to travel up to 15% to TDG locations
  • Availability for occasional evening or weekend work to support learning delivery or business needs
