About the role
- Search and AI Optimization Specialist supporting SEO, Local SEO, and AEO/GEO at TAG. This fully remote role connects SEO and AI work to business outcomes while performing technical and content optimizations.
Responsibilities
- Support and execute across SEO, Local SEO, and AEO/GEO
- Conduct technical SEO audits focusing on structured content, crawlability, indexability, and site architecture
- Identify errors and technical risks, providing clear, actionable recommendations
- Support optimization across ecommerce and CMS platforms like Shopify and Drupal
- Perform keyword research informing content briefs
- Execute on-page optimization, including titles, meta descriptions, headers, and internal linking
- Maintain Google Business Profile hygiene and optimize location pages
- Help connect SEO and AI work to meaningful business KPIs
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in SEO ideally within an agency or consulting environment
- Comfort in executing technical, content, and local SEO work end-to-end
- Understanding of how SEO connects to business outcomes
- Hands-on experience with GA4, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, CMS and ecommerce platforms such as Shopify and Drupal
- Knowledge in AI-driven discovery
- Ability to manage multiple work streams, prioritize effectively, and communicate clearly with internal teams and clients
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and grounded in practical execution.
