About the role
- Senior Software Engineer developing and maintaining AI/ML features for Thomson Reuters. Collaborating with teams to build innovative solutions using machine learning and AI technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain AI/ML features under guidance
- Implement machine learning models and integrate them into software applications
- Write clean, well-documented code following established standards
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle for AI/ML projects
- Collaborate with senior engineers and data scientists to understand system architecture
- Monitor and optimize model performance, latency, and resource utilization
- Implement A/B testing frameworks for AI/ML features
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field
- Proven experience designing, building, and deploying production-grade agentic AI workflows
- 1+ years of professional software development experience
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python; familiarity with Java, JavaScript, or C++ is a plus
- Understanding of fundamental machine learning concepts and algorithms
- Basic experience with at least one ML framework (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
- Knowledge of version control (Git), testing, and debugging
- Experience with data manipulation using pandas, NumPy, or similar libraries
- Basic SQL knowledge and understanding of database concepts
