About the role

  • Senior Software Engineer developing and maintaining AI/ML features for Thomson Reuters. Collaborating with teams to build innovative solutions using machine learning and AI technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain AI/ML features under guidance
  • Implement machine learning models and integrate them into software applications
  • Write clean, well-documented code following established standards
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle for AI/ML projects
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and data scientists to understand system architecture
  • Monitor and optimize model performance, latency, and resource utilization
  • Implement A/B testing frameworks for AI/ML features
  • Contribute to the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field
  • Proven experience designing, building, and deploying production-grade agentic AI workflows
  • 1+ years of professional software development experience
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python; familiarity with Java, JavaScript, or C++ is a plus
  • Understanding of fundamental machine learning concepts and algorithms
  • Basic experience with at least one ML framework (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
  • Knowledge of version control (Git), testing, and debugging
  • Experience with data manipulation using pandas, NumPy, or similar libraries
  • Basic SQL knowledge and understanding of database concepts
