About the role
- Senior Developer contributing to data processing applications with an Agile team at Triton Digital. Join a remote and innovative environment focused on Big Data technologies and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and development of new features, as well as the improvement and bug fixes of existing features.
- Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and applications that process multiple terabytes of data daily.
- Collaborate with the product manager and interact with other product teams to define solutions for the organization’s future.
- Contribute to all activities across the application development lifecycle (planning, design, coding, automated unit and integration testing, code review, documentation, deployment, operations, monitoring and alerting).
- Demonstrate openness to others’ ideas while communicating respectfully.
- Propose and help implement continuous improvement solutions.
Requirements
- You have experience with stream processing and Big Data technologies, notably Spark.
- You have hands-on experience with stream-processing technologies such as Kafka, Kafka Streams, etc.
- You can write and optimize SQL queries.
- You are professionally proficient in French and English.
- You are familiar with tools such as GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Grafana, Docker and Kubernetes.
- You have at least five years of professional experience as a software developer, working with JVM languages and/or Python.
- You have hands-on experience with programming languages such as Scala, Kotlin and/or Python.
