About the role
- Production Operator supporting Umicore’s automotive emission-control catalyst manufacturing. Operating in a manufacturing environment focused on reducing vehicle emissions and recycling advanced materials.
Responsibilities
- Operate in the Automotive Catalysts business unit
- Perform production operator/staff duties in a manufacturing environment
- Work with automotive emission control catalyst production supporting cleaner engines and environmental standards
Requirements
- Grade 12 diploma
- 2-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of 5S is a plus
- Computer literacy, preferably with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Knowledge of SAP is preferred
- Experience in quality environment systems is preferred
- Highly motivated
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to show initiative and innovative thinking
- Comfortable standing for long periods of time
- Batch-making experience is an asset
- Ability to work alone
