Responsibilities
Lead content development for an asynchronous online undergraduate criminal law course
Compile and create substantive course content, including micro-lecture videos, readings, assignments, and quizzes
Create all course assignments and assessments
Provide course content to online course builders and collaborate to ensure high quality
Provide guidance and oversight to teaching assistants assisting with content creation
Draft and complete the course for the design team by the end of June 2027
Develop content intended to remain relevant for three to five years
Requirements
Hold a JD or LLB degree
Experience and knowledge in the area of criminal law
Enthusiastic and self-motivated
Experience explaining legal concepts to a layperson audience considered an asset
Experience creating and/or presenting legal or other educational materials considered an asset
Experience developing and/or teaching a course in any discipline considered an asset
Experience working with digital or asynchronous information delivery considered an asset
