About the role
- Applications Engineer designing membrane filtration upgrades for Trojan Technologies, a water treatment solutions company. Developing technical proposals and customer solutions for municipal and industrial projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop technical proposals for engineered upgrade water treatment projects
- Design upgrades to membrane filtration equipment
- Interface with vendors to verify designs and obtain quotes for upgrade projects
- Review customer specifications and engineering drawings
- Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Interface directly with customers and consulting engineers
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Project Management teams
- Drive continuous improvement of tools and processes
- Develop innovative membrane filtration solutions for municipal and industrial customers
- Evaluate technical requirements and bring upgrade projects from concept to execution
Requirements
- BS degree in Civil, Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical, or related Engineering
- 2+ years of experience in engineering design, programming, field support, technical customer support, or similar experience
- Experience performing equipment design calculations on process equipment
- Demonstrated success interfacing and problem solving with external water treatment customers in Municipal or Industrial markets
- Requires 20% travel
- Must have no legal restrictions to travel between the United States and Canada
- Valid passport is mandatory
