About the role
- Staff Pharmacist providing prescription services, medication reviews, and patient counseling at Walmart Canada. Supporting pharmacy operations and the Pharmacy Manager in Saskatchewan.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Pharmacy Manager in all aspects of Pharmacy Operations
- Provide patient care based on patient consultation or file review
- Ensure excellent patient experience and locate merchandise on the sales floor
- Establish and develop working relationships with the Professional Services District Manager and other stakeholders
- Accept prescriptions and refill requests from Customers, Doctors, or Hospitals
- Fill prescriptions accurately, efficiently, and safely using established workflow models
- Counsel patients on sold pharmaceutical products
- Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products
- Execute processes according to Walmart's best ways/SOPs
- Operate pharmacy equipment, including the register and computer system
- Protect and maintain patient privacy and follow provincial regulations
- Ensure patients receive eligible services such as medication reviews and injections
- Ensure the Pharmacy is open and operational during posted business hours
- Assist the Pharmacy Manager in executing the business action plan to achieve corporate business goals
Requirements
- Age - 16 or older
- Pharmacist License (secondary optional permit in Alberta: CA_APA - Additional Prescribing Authorization)
