About the role
- Staff Pharmacist providing prescription verification, counseling, and adherence support for Felix Pharmacy’s Canadian mail-order pharmacy. Working remotely or on-site in Mississauga with Ontario and Saskatchewan licensure.
Responsibilities
- Accurately and safely fill prescriptions using established workflow procedures
- Counsel patients on new therapies and ensure understanding of their medications
- Monitor patient adherence and provide ongoing medication consultations
- Perform clinical verification to ensure prescriptions are safe, accurate, and clinically appropriate before dispensing
- Maintain patient profiles and records according to privacy and regulatory standards in Ontario and Saskatchewan
- Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians, and other pharmacy staff remotely and cross-functionally
- Ensure compliance with NAPRA, OCP, and SCPP regulations
- Support shift coverage on short notice when needed
Requirements
- Open to candidates residing in Ontario
- Active dual licensure: Part A with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) and registration in good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals (SCPP)
- Minimum 2 years of pharmacy experience; mail-order or high-volume setting preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Kroll and general pharmacy IT systems
- Reliable home internet connection
- Private, quiet workspace suitable for handling confidential patient information
- Accuracy in prescription preparation, labeling, and documentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
