About the role

  • Hiring an Accounting Manager for a 2-3 month contract in Oxford County, Ontario. Lead full-cycle accounting, month-end close, and supervise AP/AR staff.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and general ledger activity. Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close. Prepare financial reporting through the P&L. Support IFRS revenue recognition, including percentage of completion and time-and-material accounting. Oversee accounting across multiple entities and business units. Supervise AP, AR, and additional accounting support staff.

Requirements

  • CPA preferred, or equivalent experience. Experience at the Accounting Supervisor, Accounting Manager, or Controller level. Strong full-cycle accounting expertise. Construction or project-based accounting experience preferred. IFRS revenue recognition and POC accounting knowledge. Great Plains experience strongly preferred. Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables.
