About the role
- Citi Bank seeks an AI Engineer in Mississauga, ON. Requires 8-10 years experience, expertise in GenAI, LLMs, RAG, Python, and MLOps.
Responsibilities
- The AI Engineer will be responsible for developing and deploying generative AI and machine learning solutions, including building LLM-based applications, implementing RAG pipelines, and working with agentic frameworks. The role involves programming in Python, integrating AI with enterprise applications, and managing deployment pipelines using MLOps and CI/CD tools.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role. Strong foundational knowledge in GenAI, Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics, NLP, Neural Networks, and LLMs. Extensive hands-on experience with leading LLMs (Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Mistral, Llama, open-source LLMs). Deep working knowledge of RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, and agentic frameworks. Strong programming proficiency in Python with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Transformers, FastAPI, LangChain, LlamaIndex. Experience with vector databases (PG Vector, Pinecone, Mongo Atlas, Neo4j). Hands-on experience deploying GenAI models to production. Strong understanding of MLOps, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, ArgoCD). Experience with container orchestration (OpenShift or Kubernetes). Soft skills: problem-solving, collaboration, ability to work independently.
