About the role
- Bilingual Operations Analyst supporting banking operations, ensuring AML/KYC/KYB compliance, reviewing accounts, and assisting partners. Requires fluency in English/French and 2+ years banking experience.
Responsibilities
- Review 100% of new Small Business Banking accounts and associated signing authority changes for accuracy and compliance with AML/KYC/KYB requirements. Verify that all documentation meets the bank’s policies and regulatory standards. Support partners by answering questions and resolving issues related to account reviews. Ensure timely completion of all daily operational activities and adhere to service level agreements. Maintain high attention to detail to mitigate risk to the bank and ensure compliance. Assist with process improvements and adopt new technology to streamline operations. Work independently to manage workload efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- Fluent in English and French, with the ability to hold conversations as needed. Minimum 2 years of experience in banking or financial institution operations. Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to multitask and work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset. Proficiency with MS Office Suites, including basic Excel skills. Knowledge of compliance requirements related to AML/KYC/KYB. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
