- Business Analyst needed for 8-month contract. Responsibilities include leading meetings, managing offshore analyst, eliciting requirements, and tracking project progress.
Responsibilities
- Able to lead regular status meetings to connect project threads, uncover potential risks/issues and track progress. Manage an offshore business analyst in day-to-day tasks. Elicits and documents requirements to meet business needs. Possess understanding of business analysis professional standards, business processes, workflows, methodologies, and leading practices. Direct and monitor business analysis activities to ensure the traceability and optimum coverage of business requirements with change request backlog. Manage the progress of projects by tracking activity, resolving issues, and recommending actions; Provides senior management and project management with regular updates on deliverable timeline and project status. Respond proactively to both business and project issues and escalates appropriately. Post on knowledge sharing and team collaboration sites. Share best practices internally/externally.
Requirements
- A bachelors degree is Arts or science on related field or equivalent experience is required. Advanced degree and relevant professional services training and development preferred.
