About the role

  • Contract role for Business Development Manager/Guidewire Tester in Toronto. Requires 6-8 years Guidewire testing experience with Policy Center, manual testing, and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Business Development Manager / Guidewire – Tester role focused on Guidewire Policy Center domain functional testing. Responsibilities include manual testing (System Testing, System Integration Testing), working with SCRUM methodology, testing Rating module, following QA processes, test strategy and planning, defect management, creating test artifacts, using Jira and Agile project management tools, and applying Property and Casualty Insurance domain knowledge.

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of Guidewire – Tester experience. 6 years of Experience in Manual Testing (System Testing| System Integration Testing). 2 years of experience on SCRUM methodology. Good knowledge in Guidewire Policy Center. Decent testing experience in Rating module. Good knowledge on QA process and terminologies. Experience on Test Strategy and Planning. Experience in Defect Management. Good Experience in forming Test Artifacts. 5 years of Experience on Jira. 2 years of experience on any Agile Project Management Tool (e.g Rally). Good Communication skill. Work experience in Property and Casualty Insurance Domain Knowledge.
