Responsibilities
Act as liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to gather and clarify requirements. Evaluate current business processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements. Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications and solution designs. Facilitate meetings, workshops, and discussions to gather requirements and validate proposed solutions. Assist in testing and validation to ensure solutions meet business objectives. Support organizational change management efforts, helping users adapt to new systems and processes.
Requirements
6+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience, including requirements gathering, process mapping, documentation, and stakeholder management. 3+ years of hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation. 5+ years of experience working with MS Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint for process visualization, data analysis, and presentations. 2+ years of experience working with technical teams and case management systems such as ServiceNow or Resolver. 5+ years of experience translating business requirements into technical specifications. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Nice to Have: Banking industry experience. Experience working with CIBC systems. Knowledge of SQL and database fundamentals.
