Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain contract workspaces using SAP and Ariba. Prepare and support financial reporting, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial statements. Apply accounting principles and Canadian public sector accounting standards (or equivalent) in financial analysis and reporting. Accurately calculate, post, reconcile, and maintain financial records. Support budget management, internal controls, and financial process development within accounting systems. Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Develop documentation, process maps, and analytical models to support business and financial processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting structures.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (degree, diploma, or certificate). Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices. Experience using SAP and Ariba for contract workspace management. Experience with financial reporting and financial statement accuracy. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting. Experience working with accounting systems, budgeting processes, and internal controls. Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
