Responsibilities
Provide consistent, timely, and accurate information to employees and managers in accordance with job advertisements and relevant provisions of the collective agreement. Review pending requisitions for accurate information, and prepare them to be posted. Assist Talent Acquisition Consultants in drafting offer letters. Prepare and distribute career postings and other ad hoc communications regarding updates in the recruitment process or job advertisements. Assist in coordinating various events (co-op tour, co-op orientation, etc). Schedule interviews for hiring managers and candidates. Provide support in mass hires by managing the job advertisements, preparing spreadsheets and coordinating and maintaining consistent communication with the Line of Business. Initiate background checks for external candidates and follow up for further documentation or information if required. Provide technical support for the relevant Talent Acquisition modules to Hiring Managers and the Talent Acquisition department. Provide other ad hoc support to the Talent Acquisition department as it pertains to the recruitment cycle.
Requirements
Post Secondary education, strong interest in Talent Acquisition. 1-3 years’ of relevant experience. Strong competency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word. Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task, be flexible and adapt to change. Working experience with ATS/HRIS (SuccessFactors), SAP, ServiceNow preferred. Experience in a unionized environment is an asset. Results oriented, with the ability to think analytically and question the status quo.
