Seeking an experienced Infor XA (MAPICS) Techno-Functional Consultant with 8–17 years of hands-on experience to support, customize, and enhance Infor XA ERP solutions remotely in Canada.
Responsibilities
Analyze Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and convert them into functional and technical design specifications. Design, develop, test, and implement customizations within the Infor XA (MAPICS) environment. Provide techno-functional support for ERP users across various Infor XA modules. Develop and maintain interfaces, integrations, and data exchange processes. Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis. Monitor ERP jobs, system performance, licensing, and batch processing. Support ERP upgrades, enhancements, and system maintenance activities. Prepare technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer and end-user training. Recommend process improvements and best practices to optimize ERP functionality.
Requirements
8–17 years of hands-on experience with Infor XA (MAPICS) in a techno-functional role. Strong functional knowledge of modules such as: IFM, COM, PUR, MRP, IM, INV, EPDM. Strong technical expertise in: RPG, RPGLE / ILE RPG, SQLRPGLE, CL Programming, SQL/400, Query/400, DB2/400, DFU, OS/400 commands. Experience working with IBM i (AS/400) environments. Hands-on experience with: Robot Scheduler, Job scheduling and monitoring, Debugging and AS/400 utilities, SFTP, JSON, XML. Strong SQL development and query optimization skills. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment. Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
