Responsibilities
- We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Security Specialist to support the Ontario Science Centre’s digital transformation initiative, including cloud migration and the establishment of a comprehensive cybersecurity program. Key deliverables include implementing Data Loss Prevention (DLP), developing a Cybersecurity Program, deploying Microsoft Defender, launching a Security Awareness & Training Program, and strengthening organizational security governance and controls.
Requirements
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience; Cybersecurity strategy, program, and architecture development; Control Testing & Assurance; Auditing against NIST, CIS, and ISO frameworks; Experience implementing NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF); Security solutions and technology implementation; CISM and CRISC certifications; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or IT; Public Sector experience.
