About the role

Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering, documentation, and refinement with business and technical stakeholders. Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and use cases. Translate business requirements into technical specifications for architecture and development teams. Assess technology and service requests, evaluating their operational impact. Assist in project planning, scheduling, estimates, and task assignments. Research and evaluate emerging technologies. Assess existing systems and recommend remediation or modernization opportunities. Support proof-of-concept initiatives and limited production deployments. Contribute to solution documentation, architecture papers, and test plans. Assist in identifying hardware and software requirements. Provide technical recommendations to management, operations teams, and project stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience identifying and documenting business and technical requirements. Minimum 5 years of experience planning and conducting requirements gathering sessions. Minimum 5 years of experience supporting the design, development, or implementation of IT solutions. Experience working in complex healthcare environments or with provincial health systems is an asset. Familiarity with healthcare privacy and information legislation, such as the Health Information Act (HIA). Strong communication skills essential for translating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
