About the role
- Mainframe Developer with 7+ years experience in IBM Mainframe, JCL, COBOL, DB2, IMS. Hybrid contractor role in Toronto, ON.
Responsibilities
- Mainframe Developer role requiring deep IMS knowledge, ability to independently analyze IMS segments, create detailed designs, lead junior developers, participate in end-to-end field mapping, develop/unit test/deploy code. Must have strong DB2 understanding and ability to independently analyze DB2 objects. Should be AI aware with knowledge of GitHub Copilot/VS Code. Nice to have knowledge of Kafka & RESTful APIs.
