About the role
- Mainframe Developer with 7+ years experience in IBM Mainframe, JCL, COBOL, DB2, IMS. Hybrid contractor role in Toronto, ON.
Responsibilities
- Mainframe Developer role requiring deep IMS knowledge, ability to independently analyze IMS segments, create detailed designs, lead junior developers, participate in end-to-end field mapping, develop/unit test/deploy code. Must have strong DB2 understanding and ability to independently analyze DB2 objects. Should be AI aware with knowledge of GitHub Copilot/VS Code. Nice to have knowledge of Kafka & RESTful APIs.

- 7+ years experience with valid Canadian visa. Tech stack: IBM Mainframe – JCL, COBOL, SQL, DB2, Deep IMS knowledge, Endever, File-AID, CA-7. Tools: INSYNC, Jira, confluence, Service Now. Top 3 Required Skills: 1. IMS 2. DB2 3. COBOL. Top 3 Preferred Skills: 1. SQL 2. CA-7 3. JCL.
