About the role
- We are seeking a technical Application Support Engineer to provide backfill support for Participation Residuals PR systems while supporting ongoing project initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day application support for PR systems and related services. Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application issues. Develop and maintain .NET web applications and APIs. Support application deployments across Kubernetes environments using CI/CD pipelines. Containerize and deploy applications using Docker in Windows and Linux environments. Work with relational databases to optimize and maintain data models, queries, and stored procedures for enterprise scale applications. Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and cloud teams to ensure reliable application performance. Participate in code reviews, testing, and release activities. Support project teams with technical analysis, implementation, and production readiness activities. Document technical solutions, deployment procedures, and support processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing and supporting enterprise applications. Strong experience with .NET Framework, .NET Core, .NET 6, ASP.NET Web Applications, REST APIs. Hands-on experience deploying applications to Kubernetes environments. Hands-on experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle) including query optimization, schema design, and performance tuning. Experience building and managing Docker containers. Knowledge of Kubernetes deployments across Windows and Linux nodes. Experience with Git based source control and CI/CD pipelines. Exposure to AWS cloud services and modern cloud deployment practices. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative project environment. Preferred: Experience supporting financial or enterprise back-office applications. Familiarity with media entertainment participation or residuals systems. Experience with Agile development methodologies. Understanding of secure application development and deployment practices.
