Pension Consultant for a 12-month contract in Oshawa, Ontario. Provide advisory services and support for pension and benefits program administration.
Responsibilities
Provide guidance to employees on pension & benefits options. Administer daily pension and benefits processes (enrollments, changes, retirements). Maintain accurate member data and perform reconciliations. Conduct pension calculations such as service credits and retirement estimates. Support members and vendors with excellent customer service. Develop educational materials and deliver presentations. Ensure compliance with policies, legislation & audit requirements. Identify and recommend process improvements.
Requirements
Post-secondary education in HR, Business Admin, or related field. 3+ years’ experience in pension and/or benefits administration or consulting. Strong understanding of pension/benefits programs and regulatory requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and database management. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines. Vendor management experience is an asset.
