About the role
- Junior QA role for healthcare tech applications. Remote position requiring Toronto location, focusing on manual testing, defect tracking, and QA process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications. Participate in system integration testing and user acceptance testing. Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira. Contribute to test planning, documentation, and continuous improvement of QA processes.
Requirements
- Must Have: 1 to 4 years of experience in a QA or software testing role. Strong experience with manual testing. Solid understanding of SDLC and QA best practices. Experience writing and executing test cases. Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps. Nice to Have: Experience testing web and mobile applications. Exposure to healthcare, SaaS, or enterprise systems. Experience with platforms such as Procura, AlayaCare, AcuteNet, Salesforce, Workday, or Boomi. Basic exposure to test automation tools or frameworks. ISTQB or other QA certification. Experience supporting or coordinating UAT. Additional Requirements: 3+ years of work experience with User Acceptance Testing. 1+ years of work experience with Microsoft Azure. 3+ years of work experience with Quality Assurance.
