About the role
- Senior Applications Architect needed for a 100-day contract with the Ontario government in Toronto. Must have 10+ years of experience with Zachman Framework and PowerDesigner.
Responsibilities
- We are looking for an experienced Senior Applications Architect for an exciting opportunity with the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement. The role is onsite at 777 Bay St, Toronto, Ontario, starting August 4, 2026, ending March 31, 2027, with possible extension. Duration is 100 business days, 7.25 hours per day.
Requirements
- Must-Have Skills: ✅ 10+ years of experience as a Business/Applications Architect following the Zachman Framework ✅ Experience working on large-scale programs involving multiple highly inter-dependent systems ✅ 10+ years of experience as an Application/Information/Security Architect with in-house custom solutions, COTS, and Cloud-based solutions ✅ Strong understanding of Architecture Governance Process, including Gating/Checkpoints and project governance ✅ Proven expertise in API design, system integration, and technical requirement definition ✅ Hands-on experience in Data Modeling (Conceptual, Logical, Physical, and Dimensional Models) ✅ Expert-level experience with PowerDesigner for developing architecture artifacts across all domains
