Senior Business Analyst needed for a long-term contract in Toronto, focusing on investment risk and capital markets.

Responsibilities

Gather and document business and functional requirements; support implementation and enhancement of risk management solutions; collaborate with Product, Risk, Development, and QA teams; define user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria; support UAT planning and execution; document enterprise and risk data flows; participate in Agile delivery initiatives and project planning.

6+ years as a Business Analyst / BSA / Risk Analyst / Product Owner; strong background in investment risk and capital markets; experience with Market Risk, Liquidity Risk, Credit Risk, VaR / Stress Testing / Option Greeks, financial modeling & Monte Carlo simulations, derivatives and institutional investment products; highly preferred experience with SQL / PL-SQL, Snowflake, Python, Jira, Excel Power Pivot, MS Visio; preferred qualifications: CFA, FRM, MBA, or CBAP; institutional investment or pension industry experience; experience leveraging AI tools and automation.
