About the role
- Seasoned SimCorp Dimension Consultant needed for configuration, support, and optimization of investment management systems in Toronto. Requires 10+ years experience in banking/capital markets with AWS, Oracle, and scripting skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end configuration and support activities for SimCorp Dimension. Manage and optimize investment operations systems ensuring reliability and performance. Troubleshoot complex SimCorp Dimension system issues and provide effective solutions. Manage deployments and environments using AWS cloud services. Maintain and optimize Oracle databases including performance tuning and SQL optimization. Develop automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Shell scripting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical documentation and system enhancements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure system scalability and stability.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in SimCorp Dimension configuration and support. Strong experience with AWS Cloud services. Expertise in Oracle database management, SQL optimization, and performance tuning. Scripting knowledge in Python, PowerShell, or Shell. Experience working in investment management / capital markets environments. 5+ years hands-on SimCorp Dimension support experience, including: Data Warehouse, Commserver, DFS, DEX, Trade Manager, Service Manager. Ability to deliver SimCorp Dimension enhancements by designing and building: Interfaces, Reports, Batch jobs, Configuration changes. Experience troubleshooting SimCorp FAP/FAM processes and configurations. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Experience working in financial services / capital markets environments. Ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Strong collaboration and documentation skills.
