About the role
- Software Engineer with GCP/Golang expertise needed for contract role. Build RESTful APIs, microservices in hybrid Toronto environment.
Responsibilities
- Software engineers with GCP/Golang experience to work on building RESTful APIs and microservices using Golang (Go), Java, Spring, and Google Cloud Platform. Role involves containerization with Docker and Kubernetes (GKE), CI/CD tools, distributed systems, cloud architecture, and SQL/NoSQL databases in Agile/Scrum environments.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Golang (Go), Java, Spring. Solid experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices. Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes (GKE). Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.). Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud architecture. Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
