About the role
- Senior Business Analyst with ServiceNow HR expertise. 24-month hybrid contract in Oshawa, requiring 3-5 years ServiceNow BA experience and agile methodology knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, HR, and SIR departments to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements. Create user stories and navigate ServiceNow, and develop workflows. Conduct workshops and interviews to understand business processes and identify areas for improvement. Ensure requirements are clearly articulated and aligned with business objectives. Write clear user stories with acceptance criteria. Break down high-level requirements into actionable pieces. Participate in agile ceremonies. Work closely with development team for timely delivery. Collaborate with product owner to prioritize backlog. Design solutions with ServiceNow development team. Coordinate testing activities including test plans and scripts. Maintain comprehensive documentation. Provide training and support to end-users. Automate major ServiceNow Modules using ServiceNow ATF application.
Requirements
- 3-5 years as a Business Analyst in ServiceNow, leading HRSD stories as primary focus and ITSM as secondary. Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. Proficiency in ServiceNow, particularly in IT, HR, and SIR modules. Strong understanding of agile methodologies. Experience creating user stories and acceptance criteria. Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and capacity to work collaboratively. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS). Experience with ServiceNow Agile 2.0.
