Responsibilities
Lead the development of enterprise-level business architecture deliverables aligned with Ontario Government Enterprise Architecture processes and standards. This role requires extensive experience designing and implementing business architecture frameworks within complex government or large organizational environments. This position will be responsible for creating conceptual and logical models, including data models, and producing comprehensive Business Architecture Documents (BAD) that align with Solution Requirements and Information Architecture Documents to ensure both horizontal and vertical integration. The position also involves advanced business architecture design activities such as business process modeling (BPMN), service and function modeling, value chain analysis, and defining KPIs and performance measures, while ensuring alignment with strategic, legislative, and technology objectives. The architect will also establish governance, integrate multiple architectures, and support service design practices. Strong stakeholder engagement is essential, including collaboration with executives, senior management, and cross-functional teams, along with adherence to OPS standards, GO-ITS guidelines, and enterprise governance processes.
