Responsibilities
The Staff Accountant is responsible for preparing and completing audit, review, and notice-to-reader engagement files. This role works closely with engagement leaders to ensure assignments are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with professional standards and internal quality expectations. Key responsibilities include supporting a diverse client base across multiple industries, planning and executing compilation, review, and audit engagements, preparing financial statement disclosures, preparing and reviewing personal and corporate tax returns, analyzing financial data, supervising and mentoring junior staff, and identifying accounting, tax, and reporting issues.
Requirements
Actively pursuing CPA designation. Minimum 2 years of experience in public accounting. Familiarity with accounting and tax preparation software.
