About the role
- Team Lead/Infrastructure Engineer to guide engineers and maintain on-prem systems, networking, storage, and virtualization. Hands-on leadership role with hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of infrastructure specialists. Own day-to-day operations across servers, virtualization, storage, networking, and backup systems. Participate hands-on in projects and cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment with security and architecture standards. Drive process improvements, automation, and operational excellence. Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues and guide the team to resolutions.
Requirements
- 7+ years in infrastructure operations or systems engineering (servers, virtualization, storage, networking). 2+ years in a leadership or technical lead role. Strong expertise in ITIL practices, incident/problem/change management, and operational governance. Hands-on skills with Linux/Windows servers, VMware/Hyper-V/Proxmox, networking (Fortinet/Cisco), storage systems (Dell EMC/NetApp), and scripting (Python/Bash/PowerShell). Experience with containers & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
