About the role
- Team Lead for Infrastructure Engineering. Hands-on technical leadership role overseeing infrastructure, production operations, and mentoring engineers in a hybrid North York environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure engineers. Serve as primary escalation point for complex production incidents. Drive operational excellence across datacenter, networking, virtualization, and container platforms. Oversee change management, documentation standards, and system reliability. Partner cross-functionally with development, security, and architecture teams. Contribute hands-on to automation, infrastructure improvements, and modernization.
Requirements
- 7+ years in infrastructure/systems engineering. 2+ years in a technical leadership capacity. Strong ITIL, change management, and incident response experience. Ability to stay technical while coaching and developing others. Clear, confident communication style. Experience in production-heavy, fast-paced environments.
