About the role
- Hiring an experienced Accountant III / Technical Accounting Consultant for a 12-month contract in Toronto, ON. CPA designation and strong IFRS knowledge required.
Responsibilities
- Support complex IFRS accounting advisory work within the financial services industry. Prepare technical accounting memos and communicate recommendations to stakeholders.
Requirements
- CPA designated or nearing completion (1 exam remaining considered). Strong IFRS knowledge and accounting research experience. Technical accounting, accounting policy, or advisory background. Banking / financial institution experience. Ability to prepare technical accounting memos and communicate recommendations to stakeholders. Strong analytical and communication skills. Highly preferred: Big 4 experience, IFRS 9 / IFRS 10 exposure, audit or advisory experience within financial services.
