About the role

  • AbbVie therapeutic specialist driving rheumatology sales across Montreal-East, Laval, Laurentians and Lanaudière. Building healthcare-provider relationships and executing brand strategy to maximize patient-centered performance.

Responsibilities

  • Cover the Montreal-East, Laval, Laurentians and Lanaudière territory
  • Develop robust business plans to execute brand strategy and tactics in the field
  • Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives
  • Build strong partnerships with customers and accounts and develop a high-quality territory plan
  • Create pre-call plans and execute post-call evaluations to improve sales performance
  • Support key stakeholders' needs, expectations, and challenges to build trusted relationships
  • Execute call plans and optimize coverage of key customers to maximize sales opportunities
  • Build understanding of customer needs, territory landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, and clinical expertise
  • Share market intelligence with the district manager and team members to align and optimize brand strategy
  • Differentiate AbbVie's value proposition with healthcare providers
  • Identify, develop, and maintain disease-state experts and speakers/advocates to maximize brand performance
  • Place patients at the center of efforts while operating within AbbVie's business code of conduct, policies, laws, and regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proven track record of success in sales
  • Solid presentation skills
  • Strong customer relationship-building skills
  • Passion for challenges and success
  • Excellent business acumen with strategic, analytical, and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to predict contingent outcomes from customer and competitive perspectives

  • Comfort with technology and various tools/systems for day-to-day tasks
  • Ability to travel approximately 50%, including overnight travel
  • Availability for some evening/weekend work
  • Valid driver's license and passport
