About the role

  • HSE Programs Coordinator developing and improving occupational health and safety programs for PCL Construction. Supporting implementation, documentation, analysis, and stakeholder collaboration in Edmonton.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research, benchmarking, and analysis to support the development and continuous improvement of HSE programs, standards, and processes.
  • Develop and maintain HSE programs, procedures, guidance documents, templates, tools, and other supporting resources.
  • Gather information, document requirements, and incorporate stakeholder feedback.
  • Develop implementation materials and resources to support adoption of new and revised programs.
  • Coordinate working groups, reviews, pilot activities, and stakeholder consultations.
  • Track program activities, deliverables, risks, and action items.
  • Collect, analyze, and report information to support program evaluation, decision-making, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain program documentation and support ongoing updates.
  • Champion a culture of safety, learning, and innovation throughout the organization.
  • Collaborate with operational partners, subject matter experts, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety is an asset.
  • 2-5 years of HSE, operational, or related business experience.
  • Experience developing procedures, documentation, programs, standards, or business processes.
  • Strong research, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Power BI, SharePoint, AI tools, or project management platforms is an asset.
  • Construction or industrial experience is an asset.
